About us
Your role
We are looking for a resourceful and hands-on Allrounder to join our Operations Team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our pilot project, the world's first Road Power Plant, ensuring it runs reliably, safely, and efficiently day in, day out. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty, think outside the box, and tackle challenges that have never been faced before. If you are the kind of person who can fix anything, improvise when needed, and take pride in keeping a one-of-a-kind machine running, we want to hear from you.
Your tasks
Operations & Maintenance
- Carry out regular maintenance, servicing, and inspection of all mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components of the Road Power Plant
- Monitor system performance and document the condition of the installation on an ongoing basis
- Identify and resolve technical issues independently and efficiently
- Ensure the plant always operates within defined safety and performance parameters
- Maintain and service hydraulic circuits, pumps, cylinders, valves, and related components
- Diagnose hydraulic issues and implement effective and lasting solutions
- Work closely with the engineering team to optimize the hydraulic system
- Apply creative thinking and practical ingenuity to solve unforeseen technical challenges on a unique, first-of-its-kind installation
- Develop workarounds and on-the-spot solutions where standard procedures do not yet exist
- Contribute ideas for improving system reliability, efficiency, and maintainability
- Liaise with external suppliers, service providers, and contractors as required
- Collaborate closely with the internal engineering and development team
- Support the team during testing, upgrades, and further development of the system
Your profile
- Technical training or apprenticeship in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical engineering, hydraulics, industrial maintenance, or similar), a degree is welcome but not required; practical experience counts
- Hands-on experience in a technical or operational role; experience with hydraulic systems is essential
- Strong practical knowledge of hydraulics (theory and application)
- Experience with mechanical systems and hands-on maintenance work
- Basic understanding of electrical or electromechanical systems is an advantage
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
- You are a doer and an allrounder, you thrive when faced with problems that have no rulebook, take ownership, stay calm under pressure, and find solutions where others see dead ends
- Professional German required for day-to-day operations; English skills are a great advantage
Why us?
- A unique opportunity to be part of a Tyrolean greentech startup from the very beginning – with a meaningful mission and the ambition to become a future unicorn
- Technically demanding and intellectually rewarding tasks with real-world impact
- Hands-on work with cutting-edge innovation
- Freedom to bring in your ideas and express your technical creativity
- A modern work environment with space for personal growth and professional development
- Direct collaboration with the System Heads and an experienced, interdisciplinary team
- Flat hierarchies, open communication, and a startup spirit
- Flexible working hours tailored to your needs
- A salary above industry average, based on the Austrian “Kollektivvertrag für Arbeiter:innen im Metallgewerbe”
